Market structure shift (backtrex T2)

A change of character that also swept liquidity, printed a significant body, and left a fair value gap. All four conditions at once, under backtrex's T2 taxonomy — the only fully codeable specification we found.

What it looks like on a chart

A horizontal line at the level that was broken, drawn forward from the shift bar.

Settings, as they are actually applied on each timeframe. A dash means this scanner emits no settings string. Where a number differs by timeframe, that is a span of chart time resolved into bars.
Timeframe Bars of history it reads Settings Events, last 30 days

What we measured

Nothing of our own attached. The value here is a strictly specified object, not a claimed edge.

What it does not claim

The label is not decoration. Four taxonomies exist and two invert each other: under T2 an MSS is rarer than a CHoCH, under T3 it is more frequent, and LuxAlgo concedes neither usage is official. A product that says “MSS” without saying whose means the opposite thing to half its readers.

Where the definition comes from

MSS (backtrex T2) — four taxonomies exist and two invert each other, so the name travels with the event
