Prior day extreme swept

Trading through yesterday's high is ordinary. Closing back below it having done so is the event people mean by a sweep. This fires on that close and draws the swept level forward.

What it looks like on a chart

A horizontal line at yesterday's high or low, from the bar that swept it.

Settings, as they are actually applied on each timeframe. A dash means this scanner emits no settings string. Where a number differs by timeframe, that is a span of chart time resolved into bars.

Not on D1. It built on a SESSION — the profile, the first hour, the prior day's extremes. On D1 a session is one bar and the question is empty.

What we measured

Nothing of our own attached. The event is exactly defined and needs no forward claim to be worth drawing.

What it does not claim

First per side per session only — later pokes at the same level are the same story told again, and the alert does not repeat it.

Where the definition comes from

the standard sweep reading — through, then rejected
