Turtle Soup

A new extreme of the last twenty sessions, where the previous extreme was at least four sessions old. From Street Smarts, both sides, on the daily.

What it looks like on a chart

A horizontal line at the new extreme, drawn forward from the session that printed it.

Settings, as they are actually applied on each timeframe. A dash means this scanner emits no settings string. Where a number differs by timeframe, that is a span of chart time resolved into bars.
Timeframe Bars of history it reads Settings Events, last 30 days
D112020-session extreme, predecessor at least 4 sessions old12

Not on M15, M30, H1, H4. It is defined in SESSIONS — twenty of them — which is D1.

What we measured

Nothing of our own attached. The rule is quoted, not tuned.

What it does not claim

The age of the predecessor is carried on the event because it is the half a reader can check, and the half most implementations quietly drop.

Where the definition comes from

Street Smarts (Connors & Raschke), Turtle Soup
