Value area edge

The value area holds the middle 70% of a session's activity. Its high and low are the two prices the profile crowd watches most. This fires on the first touch of yesterday's boundary and draws it forward.

What it looks like on a chart

A horizontal line at the VAH or VAL, from the bar that touched it.

Settings, as they are actually applied on each timeframe. A dash means this scanner emits no settings string. Where a number differs by timeframe, that is a span of chart time resolved into bars.
Timeframe Bars of history it reads Settings Events, last 30 days
M1540050 rows, session-low origin, one count per touching bar471
M3040050 rows, session-low origin, one count per touching bar472
H140050 rows, session-low origin, one count per touching bar466
H440050 rows, session-low origin, one count per touching bar1

Not on D1. It built on a SESSION — the profile, the first hour, the prior day's extremes. On D1 a session is one bar and the question is empty.
