What has happened after a confirmed AUD/USD marker

Measured over 332 confirmed markers between May 2023 and August 2026 — about 9 a month — on hourly bars from a live broker feed.

Best run before the stop, average2.20 R
Reached +1 R50%
Reached +2 R33%
Reached +3 R24%
Direction split148 up / 184 down (55% down)

R is the height of the marker's own bar — the risk a stop at its other end would imply. Everything above assumes that stop: the run is measured only until price comes back through it, and a target counts only if it was reached first. The how it works page explains the measurement in full, and what confirmed means.

AUD/USD ranks 8th of 13 on average run, below the median for this list. The markers are not evenly split: 55% point down, over a period in which that direction simply came up more often. It is a fact about this sample, not a bias in the rule.

These are descriptions of what price did in the past, on one broker's feed. They are not a backtest and not a forecast: there is no entry rule, no exit rule, no spread and no position sizing in them, and nothing here says what anyone would have earned. Turnmarks is chart analytics, not advice. Trading carries risk, including the loss of your capital.
