BTC/USD turn markers
Bitcoin priced in US dollars. Unlike the rest of this list it has no closing bell, though the markers are computed on the same hourly bars from the same broker feed.
What has happened after a confirmed BTC/USD marker
Measured over 270 confirmed markers between April 2024 and August 2026 — about 10 a month — on hourly bars from a live broker feed.
| Best run before the stop, average | 2.48 R |
|---|---|
| Reached +1 R | 50% |
| Reached +2 R | 33% |
| Reached +3 R | 24% |
| Direction split | 135 up / 135 down |
R is the height of the marker's own bar — the risk a stop at its other end would imply. Everything above assumes that stop: the run is measured only until price comes back through it, and a target counts only if it was reached first. The how it works page explains the measurement in full, and what confirmed means.
BTC/USD ranks 4th of 13 on average run, above the median for this list. Up and down markers come out almost exactly even.
How to follow BTC/USD
The chart is open without an account — markers arrive up to 24 hours late on the free plan. A subscription removes the delay and sends a Telegram message the moment a BTC/USD marker appears, if you tick it in the account page. Nothing is sent for instruments you have not chosen.
